Scratch Repair Remedies for CDs
CDs are quite sensitive and a little scratch might make them unusable. Scratches that are normally found on the base side of the CD are the most problematic. You do not have to throw away your CD when it gets scratches. There are three remedies that you can use to fix scratched CDs.
Using fillers is one way of fixing scratched CDs. Fillers are some special liquids that are applied on the base of the CD to cover the scratches. These fillers have the same properties as the materials used to make the base of the CD. You can also use polishers to get rid of scratches from your CD. Polishers are also some type of liquids which are polished over the scratch thus smoothing it out. If you do not want to use liquids, you can use the scratch removing equipment known as sanders which is a more permanent solution than the liquids.
